I came across 2 pigeon fancier friends from Kent who had travelled to Guildford to fly their birds. I asked if I could take some photos, and they took me under their wing (boom-boom) and kindly posed for photos for me, and then let out the remaining baskets of birds to fly just so I could get the photos of them in flight.

The sad bit of this story is that the lovely pigeon, that shone is the sun, being held below came back from this flight with half a wing, as she was attacked by a hawk when flying! She can still fly but will no longer be a show bird, and her show career had only just started!
