I am afraid I have been offline for a few weeks, as I have had a very bad back. As such I have been unable to sit at the computer (or anywhere) for more than a few minutes at a time.
Because of this I do not have a lot to keep you updated on, but I am still progressing with my 365 project, which I am absurdly pleased about, even though it is only the 10th day today! But considering some days I have struggled to move, I have managed to still push myself and get my one photo a day. You may recognise that there is a 'low' floor level theme running through quite a lot of them, as that has been my eye level for the last few days!
I am just taking things slow and easy so that I can make it back into work tomorrow, and not get sent home sick again!
On that note I am going to have another session on my back machine which I got last year, as I am starting to ache and tense up again.
Today is also our 3 year wedding anniversary, and we are going out for dinner so I want to be upright and mobile! I am sending him lots of love as he has been such a huge support and help while I have been out of action the last few weeks.
I took this photo today to represent the years of our marriage as part of my 365 Project.
Have a picture of some yummy cupcakes to see you through the rest of your working day!
Have a good evening.
Always ........ Asmartartz
You may have heard of it, you may even be doing one of your own, but I thought that after reading a bit more about it, it was time to start my own.
For those that have not heard of the 365 Project it is setting yourself a target of taking one photo a day for a year. The idea is that at the end of it you have a photo gallery and album that gives you a snapshot of your year. There will be times that I will be completely uninspired to take a photo, and can’t think of what to do, and can’t be bothered but I am hoping that I can push myself and make sure that I see this through.
I know some photographers that are doing this are setting themselves themes to cover over the year for this project, such as ‘light’ or ‘emotions’ etc. But I have decided to just make it a daily diary and summary of something that happened to me that day, or something that caught my interest, or made me laugh, so when i look back at the end of the year, I can hopefully remember what happened on those days, and what provoked me to take that photo.
I started my 365 Project on the 3rd July 2011, to mark my 35th year, and hopefully use it as a catalyst to push myself to try new things, to keep thinking about ideas, to keep myself motivated. So when my next birthday rolls around I will feel that I have learnt new techniques, have got to know my camera a bit better again, and it has provided a positive space for me to express myself which in turn has had a positive effect on Asmartartz Photography!
I will be updating these on my Asmartartz Photography facebook page, and my Flickr account if I remember. If you want to follow it, click on the tabs on my page above and go to contact. You will find the links to my other pages there!
The photos below represent day 1,2 and 3.
