Camden used to be my local haunt, and stomping ground as I used to study and live in London, and there was no where I loved more than Camden. I used to toodle around there so much that the stall holders got to know me! I clubbed at the Electric Ballroom decked out in PVC and UV reflective clothing from Spank and Cyber Dog.
I had the urge to spend some time there again, as it has been a good couple of years since I have been there, and there have been lots of changes since there, some of it caused by fire, and some of it caused by the economy!

I have finally got round to editing the photos I took from a walk in the local woods. It was October (OK, so it took me quite a while to get these up!), and I was amazed to find a caterpillar stubbornly hanging on the end of a very thin branch, with the cold wind blowing and all the leaves falling from the trees. I havent got round to identifying him yet but if anyone knows what he is I would love to hear from you.
Although I was equipped with my new macro lens, I have not spent a lot of time using yet, I only had a monopod, so I struggled to get correct focus on him with a gentle breeze blowing while wedged between trees, , but it seems that I covererd him from all angles! After puffing my way up the large hill, the gorse was covered in thick webs, heavy with bright orange eggs. I think they are spiders eggs, as it is spider time around then. Also discovered were some beautiful fungus lit in a lovely bright clear light on an beautiful blue sky day. As I was heading back out I noticed bones on the ground, it looks like the spine/ribs of something, but it still looked intriguing!
