I know that I would say that I would get the photos that I took at the weekend up, and I will, this week..... I hope. It has just been a bit busier than I had hoped. I won't have a chance to do it at the weekend either, so it might have to be the start of next week, when I know I have some time spare!
So what is to come then, well just some photos that I had to take, because it is the first signs of spring, and all the news leaves are such a brilliant green, and the blossoms have exploded out on to the trees, and there was blue sky!!! What more could you want? A cup of tea sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine - done!
As I have had lots of late nights recently, and barely passed as a functioning human being today, I need to go to bed!
Will get those photos to you soon! Promise. In the meantime here is a photo of a lovely but sad VW van to enjoy. The rust was the only thing holding it together but it gave it even more character and made a great art style image

Nitro ice-cream in birthday cake flavour please!
Had a wonderful experience a couple of weeks ago, when I popped into the ChinChin Labs ice-cream parlour in Camden Lock.
They make incredible tasting ice-cream using liquid nitrogen in the creation process!
The whole parlour is designed to look like a science lab, complete with two large tanks of liquid nitrogen, with the sauces and toppings for the ice-cream being stored in flasks and test tubes.
The owner and creator takes the time to explain how it all works, and how he will create your ice-cream. There are the two standard flavours- vanilla and chocolate. But vanilla filled with real vanilla and premium rich cocoa from somewhere sunny and hot. Then there is the weekly special. Amazing and creative flavours that make you think 'What? Wow!'. The flavour of the week for my visit was Tea and Birthday cake. Earl Gray tea and victoria sponge birthday cake flavour to be exact!!!
The liquid nitrogen is syphoned out of the tank, with a plume of steam that fills that lab, and cascades down over the surfaces, just like out of a science fiction movie!
After the initial ingredients are mixed, the liquid nitrogen is slowly added and mixed in.
Ice-cream ready!
Then you get to choose a sauce of your choice, ranging from chocolate and toffee sauces, to fresh fruity berry sauces. Then it is on to the toppings! Salty or sweet, crunchy or soft. pretzels, giant chocolate buttons, crushed nuts, or popping candy to name a few!
Quite frankly who can refuse popping candy, especially when it is an amazing shimmering bronze colour!
It was a great experience, and I can definately recommend it.
If you go let me know what the Special of the week is, and how tasty it was.

A Day out in London Part 1
Hi
So a few weeks ago I headed off to Camden for the day and ended up taking lots of photos, so I decided to head back again, and made a day of it.
It was a really varied day photographically, and I started once I was sat on the train. I then met the Red Hatters at Waterloo station who were kind enough to allow me to take some quick photos of them enjoying a cup of tea.
Then started at the Geffrye Museum, which is about 15 min walk from Old Street Station. The gardens were filled with art, which stood out in the bright sun. It was another lovely blue sky day, just perfect for wandering around London in.
I had never heard of it before, but it was listed on the top 50 free things to do in London. It is a housing museum and shows rooms and features from the 1700's right through to today, and how styles and tastes have changed, and in some cases, come full circle!
I loved the calm and curvy Garden room that was built behind the small chapel, and was filled with lovely light, and the painting that followed the curves round were very genteel. I particularly liked the Blue Room, which was a Drawing Room from 1830.
After finishing at the Museum, I headed back to Camden for some lunch, and then onwards again from there, but that is for Part 2.
Hope you have all had a good weekend.
